Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) is a university under the section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, set up under the Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidyalaya; Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008 (UP Act No. 29 of 2008) as passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature and assented to by the Honorable Governor of Uttar Pradesh in September 2008.

SVSU was established with a dream of making self-confident and dynamic young people who are not only professionally competent but also fully aware of their duty to the society and the nation. SVSU has been granted the accreditation rating of ‘Grade A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
